Location's
We are planning to use a room in an old house, we will use props to make the room look busy, we want it to look like a real life teenagers room, at the beginning of the filming the room will be full and throughout the video we will show the male emptying the room of his ex girlfriends items to show the idea of him letting go of the relationship, we will also use high key and low key lighting to show different emotions through the break up.
We want to do a shoot of the male alone on swings in a park, we want the background to look plain to suggest he is feeling lonely and isolated from the rest of his friends and family following the break up.
We will use a time laps in the video to show how time is passing the male by whilst he is feeling sad and alone, we think a shot over a bridge with car headlights flowing underneath it will portray this well.
For our video we are planning on using an area which we are able to light a small controlled fire, this could be a wood somewhere, quite isolated, we will need permission for this and will have to carry out a risk assessment very carefully for this shoot.
We have considered using a bus shelter which again looks quite isolated to show the feeling of him being alone throughout the breakup.
